A return to what matters.

I’ve worked in branding and design for most of my career, helping build brands, shape identities, and bring other people’s visions to life. For a long time, my biggest dream was to become a creative director for some of the world’s most recognizable brands. I was on that path, and I loved what I did. I loved how a color, a texture, a photograph, or a thoughtfully designed object could make someone feel. But somewhere along the way, I started asking myself a more personal question: What do I want to put into the world, and why?

After October 7, that question became impossible for me to ignore. The antisemitism I experienced in professional spaces, with clients, and in the world around me changed my relationship with the industry I had spent so much of my life in. At the same time, I found myself being pulled closer to my Jewish identity.

I wanted my creativity to spread light at a time when the world was feeling so dark. And what brighter light is there than the light of our Creator, our Judaism, and the beauty of who we are as a people?

Room 72 grew from that feeling.

I wanted to create Jewish objects that feel just as beautiful as the meaning they carry. Pieces you’re excited to bring into your home, give to someone you love, leave out on your coffee table, and make part of your everyday life.

But Room 72 has never just been about objects.

My hope is for Room 72 to make Judaism feel a little more inviting, to create small entry points for anyone who wants to get closer but may not know where to begin.

Sometimes the first step is incredibly small, and sometimes that small step becomes something much bigger. I hope Room 72 feels like an invitation to start wherever you are, and grow from there!
